RIMFIRE BENCHREST
Indoors and outside we shoot two 8.5×11” targets.
– One is the group target with one sighting bull and two score bulls. A caliber is used to measure the maximum group spread. The final score is the measured distance, less the (0.224) diameter of the bullet. This method is also used for center fire scoring.
– The other target has one aiming bull to set the scope and 5 scoring bulls. Each bull is shot twice. The small bull is a 10 score, if the bull touches the center dot. Centering on the center dot generates a “X” score used to determine the best shooter. Each ring is scored a 10 thru 7.
